Demand for the Quarters lifestyle prompts early land release

April 2014

Peet Limited’s Quarters community in Cranbourne is capturing the attention of a growing number of homebuyers keen to secure their piece of the high-quality lifestyle.
Demand for homesites has been so strong, with more than 40 homebuyers buying into Quarters since the New Year, that the release of 16 new homesites has been brought forward in the popular community.
Sized from 350sqm to 504sqm, and starting from $193,000, the Stage 8 homesites will put residents within easy walking distance of all community amenities, including Elmsford Park which features a playground, barbecue and picnic facilities and open space for ball games and social gatherings.
Easy access to established services and infrastructure in Cranbourne, and the new amenities being planned close to home, were big attractions for the community’s newest residents-in-waiting, Nikul and Beena Patel.
Construction has started on the couple’s four-bedroom, two-bathroom design from Simonds Homes and they hope to move in by September.
“We’d looked at a number of other estates in Cranbourne, and while they offered us good options, we just couldn’t go past Quarters,” Nikul said.
“You can tell Peet has put a lot of effort into the community.”
The couple, along with their two children Smit (18) and Bansari (8), had been renting in Glen Huntly and felt the time was right to take their first step onto the property ladder.
“After renting for the last few years, it came to a point where I wanted to keep our money in our own pocket,” Nikul said.
“Interest rates were low, land prices were good – it seemed like a very good time to buy our first home.”
Enthusiasm for Quarters appears to be contagious. The Patel’s we so impressed by what the community had to offer they recommended it to two other families – who have also purchased lots in the popular community.
“We told our friends about the estate so they had a look and liked what they saw,” Nikul added. “We’re really going to enjoy having them living so close.”
Quarters residents have plenty of room to relax, play and grow. Nine of the community’s 66 hectares are dedicated to public open space, including a six hectare natural waterway that will ultimately meander through the heart of estate and link up with parklands, sporting and recreational facilities.
Quarters is a well-serviced community with easy access to the Cranbourne town centre and its established amenities, including schools, shops and medical services.
It is also conveniently located close to transport, with bus services running from Evans Road and Cranbourne Train Station offering residents frequent links into Cranbourne and Melbourne’s CBD.
