Yanchep Golf Estate just the ticket for ambitious family

April 2014

The promise of a bright future filled with opportunities in education, work and investment convinced Vishnu Chandu and his wife Anitha to make Yanchep Golf Estate their new home.

The couple and their two young sons, Tanmay (7) and Vismay (6), were renting in Perth but, with interest rates at an all-time low, decided the time was right to establish a home of their own.

They did their homework on areas to raise their family and learnt of Yanchep’s future as a satellite city, offering new transport links, education and healthcare hubs.

A good education for their children is a high priority, and plans for a university at Yanchep was a major drawcard for the couple, who left India in 2008 to ensure their sons received the best educational opportunities.

“My kids are still young but, when they’re older, I’m happy knowing they will have the opportunity to continue their studies at a university that’s close to home,” Vishnu said.

“In the meantime, they’ll be at a primary school just a few minutes’ walk from our house.”

Yanchep’s future health precinct was also attractive to Vishnu and Anitha who are both busy preparing for their own university exams – Vishnu in medicine and Anitha in dentistry.

Vishnu is looking forward to the prospect of establishing a medical practice of his own in Yanchep’s planned healthcare precinct and hopes his children will one day join the family business.

“That’s my ultimate goal,” he said.

Vishnu and Anitha were attracted to the bigger block sizes at Yanchep Golf Estate, which will allow them to build a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home, complete with a well-sized backyard for their children.

“We did look at other nearby areas, but found the blocks were smaller and more expensive,” said Vishnu.

“I really wanted the kids to have a backyard to play in, and this community has some of the largest blocks in the area.”

Nestled between Yanchep National Park and the Sun City Country Cub, and featuring more than four kilometres of golf course frontage, Yanchep Golf Estate will be home to more than 1,500 households when complete.

Since the start of 2014, 40 new homesites have been sold in the estate, with buyers of all ages and from all parts of the metropolitan area planning their future in the Yanchep Golf Estate community.

Prospective purchasers looking to establish themselves at the estate can choose from a variety of generously-sized homesites starting from 450sqm, with some just metres from the golf course. Prices start from $208,000.

The largest traditional lot available – a spacious 960sqm – is selling for $400,000.
For buyers wanting something particularly special, five premium homestead lots overlooking the course are also available, priced between $405,000 and $420,000 and sized up to 1,308sqm.
