  • Almost 80 per cent of lots at The Village at Wellard in WA were offered within an affordable price bracket – far exceeding the 20 per cent targeted prior to development.  The estate also integrates public housing with private ownership, with one in 12 lots provided for the Department of Housing’s rental housing program.
  • In 2010, the Federal Government announced a $10.5 million grant for Peet’s Riverbank community in Caboolture as part of its Housing Affordability Fund. The grant was used to construct a vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian bridge and implement a planning reform tool to speed up development assessments, eliminating a final barrier to the start of construction of the new community.
  • At Peet’s Riverbank community in Caboolture, a significant percentage of new home sites will attract a $15,000 subsidy to assist eligible key workers to purchase their own home. This will assist long-term economic growth and community development in the region.
