Ashton Heights

From the earliest planning stages, Ashton Heights’ natural features, including a wetland and nature reserve, were a focus in the design of the estate.

Significant investment has been made into the rehabilitation and protection of the natural wetland area. Walkways and a jetty were added to allow residents to have easier access to the area for leisure activities.
Five landscaped parklands to provide open spaces for recreation and exercise have complemented the natural topography of the estate. All include interlinking pedestrian and cycle ways, as well as barbeques, picnic shelters and play equipment providing facilities for social gatherings.
As part of the estate is Peet’s medium-density living option – Fusion Ashton Heights – which includes 27 low-maintenance homes.  Fusion Ashton Heights operates within a secure gated area with a 15-metre lap pool with surrounding barbeque area and deck. Residents within the gated community also enjoy access to Ashton Height’s parklands and the wetlands reserve.
Ashton Heights was planned to take advantage of the good community facilities and amenities in close proximity. Within the area are a number of primary and high schools, with a university campus not far away.
Local services, including shops, banks, restaurants and more are located just a few minutes from Ashton Heights within the Wanneroo area, and residents also have easy access to the Carramar Village shopping centre.
Fibre-optic cabling was installed at the outset, providing easy, low-cost access to broadband internet and cable television.
Ashton Heights was master-planned by Peet with relaxation in mind. The estate’s proximity to local services and amenities, including public and private schools, a university campus, recreational facilities, shops, medical centres, also ensures residents have all the amenities they need to live an active, social and healthy lifestyle.
Ashton Heights was also designed in accordance within GreenSmart sustainability principles. Wherever possible, native plants were retained or replaced in landscaping and in the wetland rehabilitation project.
Peet also carried out the rehabilitation of the Pinjarrabup Wetland in 2005 as part of the Ashton Heights development.  The wetland area has become a haven for local birdlife and small animals.
