Annika and Jason

Warner Lakes residents Annika and Jason Trembath painted the estate white for a day - tying the knot in their favourite outdoor sanctuary at the Peet Limited community.

The newlyweds, who met while working together more than six years ago, chose Warner Lakes’ Dragonfly Park to hold their special day (17 September 2012).

“We chose to hold our wedding Warner Lakes because for its open space and peaceful atmosphere. We have such beautiful lakes right on our doorstep, I didn’t want to travel anywhere else,” Annika said.

The intimate wedding was attended by 40 guests, including the couple’s son and daughter – Charli (2.5 years) and Finn (12 months).

“It was so relaxed within the park and absolutely beautiful – exactly the type of wedding we’ve always wanted,” she said. “It was gorgeous – I had such an amazing day!”

This is the first wedding in the Peet community, which is home to hundreds of young couples and growing families looking for convenient access to the city and extra space to move.

Annika and Jason have been renting at Warner Lakes for approximately two years and are currently looking to buy a house of their own.

“We absolutely love the area because of the walking paths and parks. We live opposite Dragonfly Park which is so nice – especially with the trees and beautiful lake.

“Jason is the director of his own entertainment business so he’s constantly travelling around the city. Living in Warner Lakes gives him downtime, which makes him relaxed.

“We haven’t even looked beyond Warner Lakes, because it has everything we want - a strong sense of community and great facilities.”
